Side Table

Here is a sleek side table made with some very lovely woods. The top is afzelia burl from Cambodia. The base is cocobolo from central America and bubinga from Cameroon; all solid wood, no veneers. Even the drawer bottom is beautiful quarter sawn sycamore. It’s built to last.

side table1 The drawer is hung on wood guides mounted to the inside of the drawer; so the drawer appears to be suspended in the air with no visible support.

Side table4 The top is made of two short pieces of burl, joined in the middle with ebony butterfly keys.
